Meaning:

      

O’One who travels at the speed of thought and wind. O’One who has mastered control over one’s mind, O’One who has excelled and have gained knowledge/wisdom, O’One who is important warrior among the Vanara army, O’Lord Hanuman, I salute to you the messenger of Sri Rama by bowing my head in reverence.

O’Lord, you wear a beautiful necklace with a crocodile pendent. O’Lord, you adorn splendid nine gems that form a central soul of your eternal bliss and knowledge. O’ Lord, Your all limbs are covered with luxurious golden ornaments. O’Lord, Pleasant sound is heard from your anklets  that tinkle at your auspicious footsteps. O’Lord, You shine with a radiance similar to that of a hundred gem stones. O’ Lord, You are a powerful warrior as Sharabha (shiva) and possess a good personality of several good attributes. O’Lord, you have shown your valour which is as powerful as a tens of hundreds of suns to King Ravana of Lanka. O’Lord, you filled a ray of light/hope to Devi Seeta who resembles Devi Shree Lakshmi sitting in her Lotus in Lanka. O’Lord Hanuman, I salute you who is the messenger of Lord Sri Rama in reverence by bowing my head.

O’Lord, you have informed Devi Seeta of Lord Rama’s well being and removed her sadness. O’Lord, you have delivered Lord Rama’s signet ring to Devi Seeta as identification and assured her that Lord Rama is going to rescue her. O’Lord, you have displayed your great valour and immense strength in Ashoka Vana and have defeated and killed many rakshasas and diminished the pride of Lanka. O’Lord, your tail and body are as strong and dangerous as Indra’s Vajrayudha. O’ Lord Hanuman, I bow my head in salutation to the messenger of Lord Sri Rama in reverence.

O’Lord, you have leaped into air with Lord Rama on your back to help him find good aim over Ravana in the battlefield. O’Lord, you have destroyed the rakshasa Kalanemi’s bow into small pieces with your bravery and courage while on your way to Himalayas. O’Lord, you among all the vanaras have flew back from Himalayas with Dronagiri mountain along with Sanjeevani Herb. O’Lord, you have saved Lord Lakshmana’s life by getting the Sanjeevani, the life giving herb from the Himalayas. O’Lord Hanuman, I bow my head in salutation to the messenger of Lord Sri Rama.

O’Lord, you have diminished the strength of millions of rakshasas (demons) and caused their annihilation. O’Lord, you have laid the path to the Dashagriva Ravana’s destruction. O’Lord, on your advise, Vibhishina the younger rakshasa brother of Ravana was made the King of Lanka. O’Lord, your glorious form enlightens your devotees and destroys their sins. O’Lord Hanuman, I salute to you respectfully by bowing my head to the one who is the messenger of Lord Sri Rama.
